NOTE: This soundtrack currently has no official release.

The Snakeybus soundtrack is a soundtrack album that, quite obviously, is the soundtrack to the game of the same name. Various artists contributed to the making of the album, such as the artists CityPop and leafcuts.

The Snakeybus soundtrack is a soundtrack that does not neatly fit into any one genre; there are many sonic directions that the album takes. For instance, “Petal Falon” is a lo-fi hip-hop affair that incorporates piano elements and digital drums that combine together to form a relaxing, chilled out track. On the other hand, “Landry” is an energetic synthpop track that combines quite a few groovy elements, with a prominent bass in the mix, and a guitar that would fit right into a groove track.

A lot of the songs on the soundtrack repeat portions of themselves, however this isn't a bad thing because the parts that repeat are interesting enough to not get boring to listen to.

Though it isn’t my job to critique how well the soundtrack fits with the game itself, I will say that in spite of the soundtrack's short length and repetition I can't envision it getting old after even dozens of hours of gameplay.

My favorite tracks from the album are “Landry”, “Sky Dream”, and “Paris 2”.

Overall, the Snakeybus is a good soundtrack, exploring several sonic directions and dipping its toes in everything from groove-infused synthpop to chilled out lo-fi hip-hop. Although the full soundtrack is not officially available anywhere, it definitely should be as this soundtrack deserves to be heard elsewhere besides just the confines of the game.
